Kathy Marie Cloer Price

Kathy Marie Cloer Price left her earthly home and entered her heavenly home on July 4, 2022. Kathy was born March 24, 1956, to Ella Mae Annas Cloer and John Bartley Cloer. Kathy graduated from Hudson High School and Western Piedmont Community College with an associate degree in nursing. She became a registered nurse and began her nursing career at Valdese Hospital in pediatrics. She worked as an RN until her health began to fail many years, ago. Kathy was a born again Christian and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Hudson, NC. She loved to sing! She also loved teaching children about missions and previously taught a children's handbell choir. She taught adult Sunday school for many years. As Kathy's health began to fail and she was unable to be involved in her church, her faith never waivered. Kathy spent her latter years confined in her home but her love for her Lord, family and friends only grew stronger. She spent much of her time shopping online. She loved gifting family and friends with her " little blue boxes." Kathy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, John Cloer and fiancee Paula Kincaid, niece Alicia Stevens (Derl), nephew Brandon Rose (Amanda) and numerous extended family. Contributions may be made in her memory to her home church, Friendship Baptist Church in Hudson, NC or to Mount Zion Baptist Church in Hudson, NC.
