Kathy Jones Hudson

Granite Falls, NC- Kathy Suzzette Jones Hudson, age 50, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Frye Regional Medical Center. She was born in Catawba County on August 11, 1963 to Betty Austin Jones and the late Bobby Gene Jones, Sr. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Eugene Jones and sister, Candy Jones Hayes. Other than her mother she is survived by her son, Michael Mercer of Danielson, CT; brothers, Bobby Jones, Jr., Christopher Jones, and Jeff Jones; sister, Nancy Crowder; 7 stepbrothers and sisters; and 2 grandchildren. A memorial service for Kathy will be held at Harris Chapel Baptist Church on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 2:30 PM with Pastor Jim Hamby officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 prior to the service.
