Kathleen Hennessee

Granite Falls – Mrs. Kathleen Coffey Hennessee, age 81, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice. She was born in Caldwell County on October 26, 1934 to the late Howard Coffey and Florence Hartley Coffey. Mrs. Hennessee was a very loving, caring and giving person who never seemed to meet a stranger. She will be missed and always be remembered with love by her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Mike Hennessee; sister, Mary Tolbert; and brothers, Leland Coffey and Joseph Coffey. She is survived by her son Patrick Hennessee and wife, Shelley; brothers, Alvin Coffey and wife, Mary; Russell Coffey ; sister, Willa Coffey Tolbert and husband, Alan; brothers, Ronald Coffey and wife, Bonnie; Robert Coffey and wife, Gail; Kenneth Coffey; sister, Doris Hawkins and husband, Ray; grandchildren, Misty Booth; Crystal Williams and Shanna Hennessee; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Logan Brown; Jordan Turner; Jaimasa and Jaden Williams; and 23 nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Hennessee’s life will be held at Mountain Grove Church on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Raymond Spann officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Cajah’s Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM.
