Julia Dula

Julia Honeycutt Dula, 54, of Granite Falls, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care. She was born in Caldwell County on February 6, 1962 to the late George Honeycutt and Elizabeth Jenkins Honeycutt. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Camilla Sue Greene and Wilmetta Huffstetler. Julia is survived by her husband, Tom Dula; daughter, Heather Murphy Waters and husband, Matt; sisters, Wilma Greene, Betty Hefner, Jean Bristol, Barbara Greer, Jeanette Crotts and husband, Danny; Elaine Nelson and husband, Kenny; grandson, Jeffery Waters; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Julia will be held at Union Grove Baptist Church on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Sam Craven officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.
