Baton, NC- Mrs. Judy Claydean Rhymer Worley, age 68, of Baton, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice in Hudson. Born August 5, 1948 in Caldwell County, Judy was a daughter of the late Adam and Jessie Beane Rhymer. She had worked at Bernhardt Furniture for many years and later became a CNA. Judy was a caregiver and loved taking care of others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale Rhymer and Clyde Beane. Survivors include her husband, Tony Worley of the Home; her children, Derek Worley, Dennis Johnson, Jr. (Wife Kim), Mark Worley (Wife Joann) and Anita Worley all from Baton; a sister, Joyce Greer of Baton; her beloved Bassett, Cookie; three grandchildren, Kirsten Johnson, Kia Worley and Cameron Worley; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Sam Craven officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
