Judy Farmer Lenoir – Judy Elaine Triplett Farmer, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Caldwell County on June 23, 1948 to the late Charles Monroe Triplett and Ida Greene Triplett. Judy was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lenoir where she sang in the choir. She retired from her career as a pediatric nurse, one that she took great pride in. Judy was also a founding member of the Wig Bank of Caldwell County. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Ray Triplett and Charles Douglas Triplett. Judy is survived by her children, the Reverend Angela Farmer Jackson and husband, Tom of Lexington, NC; Mark Farmer of Lenoir; sisters, Joan Triplett Houk and husband, Camuel; Ruth Triplett Daye; and Sue Triplett Smith; grandchildren, McKenzie Farmer; Matthew Jackson; Hannah Jackson; Riley Farmer; and Hallie Jackson; Don Farmer, to whom she was married for 43 years; many other relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends; and her close pet companions, Zoe and Bandit. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Angela Farmer Jackson and the Reverend Marietta Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
