Judy Atkins Stroud

Judy Atkins Stroud formerly of Lenoir passed away peacefully April 25, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. She was a loving wife and mother married over 50 years. She was born in Lenoir, NC on December 11, 1940, the daughter of the late Allie and Lura Caudle Atkins. She is survived by her husband Phillip E. Stroud ; two sons, Keith Stroud and Robert Stroud and wife Sherry of Cleveland, TN; a brother, Jimmy Atkins and wife Elmedia of Lenoir, NC; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren whom she cherished; and a number of nieces and nephews of Lenoir, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters and brother?in-laws, Helen A. Mack and husband Jim, Scottie Sue Hamby and husband Wallace, Barbara A. Young and husband David all of Lenoir, NC A Memorial Service for Mrs. Stroud will be held Friday, April 30, 2010 at 4:30 PM at Oakwood Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery.
