Judy Miller

Mrs. Judith “Judy” Lane Greer Miller, age 75, of Lenoir passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. Born July 4, 1945 in Grayson, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Russ and Agnes Dollinger Greer.Judy was a member of the Covenant Baptist Church.One of the things she enjoyed most was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.Her granddaughters were her pride and joy.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Herman Greer, Randy Greer and Charles Greer. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ray Miller; two daughters, Kathy Spake (Husband David) and Heather Woods (husband Jon); her granddaughters, Kailee Spake and Makenna Woods; sisters, Anne Pennington, Jean Greer, Carolyn Alexander, Marilyn Taylor and Jackie Baldwin;her brothers, Paul Greer, Tony Greer and Carrol Greer; a special sister in law, Mary Suits (husband Basil); she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Covenant Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Bean, Pastor Paul Puett and Tony Greer officiating.Interment will follow the service in the Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Due to Covid-19, we will be practicing social distancing and recommend the use of a face mask.
