Judy Hall Helton

Lenoir, NC – Mrs. Judy Hall Helton, age 59, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 9, 2011. Mrs. Helton was born in Caldwell County to the late Monroe Hall and Betty Craig Hall and was the wife of William “Junior” Helton for more than 38 years. She was an active member of Crestview Baptist Church where she faithfully served in the Women’s Missionary Union. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Betty Helton and her uncle, Ivey Gene Craig. Other than her husband, she is survived by her brother, Eddie Hall; father-in-law, Boyd Helton; brother-in-law, Kevin Helton and Nancy Crump; sisters-in-law, Lyn Helton and fiancée, Boyce Laxton; April Helton and Anita Helton Rose; nephews, Ryan Lingle and Rylan Crump; nieces, Katie Rose and Hailey Crump; aunt, Annie Sue Beach; special friend, Helen Curtis; and many more friends that are too many to count. A celebration of Mrs. Helton’s life will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Crestview Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Isaacs and Stuart White officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at the First Baptist Church of Whitnel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bob Crowe, Neil Adams, Sanford Woods, Terry Barnes, Dennis Simmons, and Keith Howell. Butch Lackey will serve as honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Crestview Baptist Church.
