Connelly Springs –Judy Gibson Curtis, age 68, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her home.Born October 26, 1946 in Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Wesley R. and Elsie Sutton Gibson. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Whisnant and two brothers, Jimmy and Charles Arnette. Judy is survived by her children, Misty Beach Parker and husband Randy; Michelle Sandiage and Pachea Tomlinson and husband Jason; two sisters, Linda Duckett and Mary Alice Harding; 7 grandchildren, Misti Brooke Wallace; Kelsie Tomlinson; Sian Hawkins; Lauren Lavato; Jaden Tomlinson; Dustin Sandiage; Kristy Shifflet and three great-grandchildren, Rainon Sandiage; Emeri Tomlinson and Raylan Wallace. A gathering of family and friends will take place 6:00 P.M. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Journey's End Baptist Church in Lenoir.
