Judy Bolick

Hudson – Judy Sherrill Bolick, age 80, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016, at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care in Hudson. She was born in Watauga County on November 2, 1936 to the late F.T. Sherrill and Ruby Lee Trivette Sherrill. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Bolick. Judy is survived by her daughters, Deborah “Debbie” Bolick Stewart (and Richard Pawlicki), Dr. Lesa Bolick Widener (and Timothy), and a son, William Edmondson “Eddie” Bolick. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Sherrill Wellborn (husband Rev. Sherrill D. Wellborn), granddaughter, Amanda Brooke Pickrell (husband Jasen), grandsons, Samuel William Alexander “Alex” Smith (fiancée Katherine Harris), William Cade Bolick, and step-grandchildren, Rachel Rogers and Rebecca Calloway. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at Harvest Church, Cedar Valley Road, Hudson, at 3:00 pm, on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, with Reverend Sherrill D. Wellborn and Reverend David Wellborn officiating. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service at 1:30 pm. Entombment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
