Juanita Heaps

Lenoir- Juanita Crump Heaps, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Shaire Center. She was born in Burke County on August 26, 1929 to the late Reverend Gordon A. Crump and Lucille Barlowe Crump. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Davis and her brother, Kenneth Crump. Juanita will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend. She loved the Lord and was of Baptist faith. Juanita enjoyed crocheting and baking her infamous coconut cakes and other delicious treats. She is survived by her children, Doris Magnum; Elaine Dula and husband, Larry; Barbara Soots and husband, Ricky; Debbie Lackey and husband, Lonnie; Eddie Davis and wife, Sharon; Donna Hartley and husband, Wayne; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Davis; Earl Davis and wife, Roxanne; brother, Jack Crump and sister, Modene Stillwell and husband, Clifford; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of Juanita’s life will be held at Clover Baptist Church on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Keith Childers officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brad Davis, Dustin Davis, Bryan Davis, Scott Dula, Chase Bailey and Braxton Nelson. Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Bailey, Dalton Chapman and Bryson Annas. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service. The family would like to thank the staff at Shaire Center for the loving care given to Granny.
