Joyce Ann Northrup

Joyce Ann Northrup, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Mission Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bradford County, PA on September 22, 1945 to the late Bernard and Carlotta Griswold. She was married to David Northrup, of the home, for 42 years.

She was a loving wife who loved the Lord. She was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church where she was active in many different capacities. She touched countless lives with her card ministry. Joyce and David loved to travel and together they enjoyed growing flowers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, John Northrup and wife, Shannon; step-son, Marty Northrup and wife, Wanda; grandchildren, Trevor, Drew, Madison, Matthew, Katie, Bethany, Christopher and Casey; and other family members.

A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at Temple Baptist Church on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Joel Bixler officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the service.
