Joyce Ann Barnett

Granite Falls, NC- Mrs. Joyce Ann Barnett, age 63, of Granite Falls, died Monday, October 26, 2009 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born July 3, 1946 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Barnett was a daughter of the late Thad ?Goob? Annas and Mrs. Ruth Hollar Annas of Granite Falls and the wife of Mr. Dallas Barnett of the home. Mrs. Barnett was a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church and had worked as a seamstress in the furniture industry. Other than her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters, Crystal Gilbert Feliciano and husband Victor of Phenix City, AL; Anna Barnett Sturgill and husband Garry of Rhodhiss; three sisters, Sandra Hedrick of Newton; Becky Muncy and husband Anthony of Newton; Jackie Helton and husband Frank of Bethlehem and one brother, Ronnie Annas of Granite Falls. A celebration of Mrs. Barnett?s life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Phillip Case officiating. Burial will follow in Harris Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be: David Black, Michael Rice, Wesley Rice, Anthony Muncy, Kyle Garcia and Elverson ?Coot? Annas.
