Joy Odom

Joy Odom, 84, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

Joy was born on July 21, 1940, to the late James and Lillie Belle Weir.

Those left to cherish Joy’s memory are her husband, Norman Odom, Sr.; sons, Chris Triplett, David Triplett, Kenneth Triplett; stepchildren; Norman, Theo, Timmy, and Patsy; granddaughter, Olivia; and numerous other relatives.

Joy loved her husband, family, and most of all loved the Lord.  She enjoyed playing organ and piano for her church.  Joy spent her life as a child caregiver in her daycare she owned.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Whitnel First Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Stuart White officiating.
