Joshua Grant Hamm

Joshua Grant Hamm, 43 of Lenoir, NC passed away unexpectedly on July 4th, 2022, at his residence. Joshua was born on September 6, 1978 to the late Philip Grant Hamm and Susan Diane Williams Hamm. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal Grandfather Thomas S. Hamm and maternal Grandmother Nicie P. Williams, along with his Uncle Steve Hamm, Uncle Jerome Moretz and cousin James Bradley Williams, cousin Holly Price Haynes, cousin Connor Townsend and his son Elijah Grant Hamm. Those left to cherish his memory are his Mother Diane Hamm; Daughter Natalie Hamm; Brother Patrick Winkler; paternal Grandmother Lola Hamm and maternal Grandfather Clyde Paris Williams; Aunts, Diane Moretz, Lorie Cheek (Terry) and Kathy Williams Turnmire (Greg) of Richmond VA; Uncles, Uncle Steve Williams and Scott Williams (Amy); along with numerous cousins, family and friends. Joshua enjoyed all types of music, video games, Star Wars, working with his hands, helping others and cooking delicious food. He was an animal lover and never met a stranger. A celebration of Josh's life will be held on July 11th 2022, at 2p.m, at Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Cheek officiating. A receiving of friends and family will be held at 1p.m. The family respectfully request that any donations be made to WRTS Hickory Gym in honor of Joshua’s son Elijah Hamm.
