Joseph Elleffie Snyder

Joseph Elleffie Snyder, age 78 of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023.

Joseph was bom on November 14, 1944 to the late Harvey Wade Snyder and Lanta Chloe Miller.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Curtis Wade Snyder; sisters, Louise Cheek, Pauline Setzer; brother, James Snyder.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Evelyn H Snyder; daughters, Lisa S Blalock (husband Darin), Laura S Hayes (husband Mark), son, Joseph Allen Snyder (wife Tonya); grandchildren, Christian Sullins, Elizabeth Courtney, Rebeca Bailey, Levi Blalock, Dalton Snyder, Whitley Bailey, Allison Blalock, Erin Garrett; great grandchildren, Soliel Seechang, Abel Bailey, Mia Bailey, Bentley Bailey, Warren Sullins, Payton Rogers. Ezra Blalock, Ellie Sullins, and Emmett Snyder.

A memorial service will be held at Sunrise Baptist Church in Hudson on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 4:00PM with Pastor Edward Warren officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00PM to 4:00PM.

The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Amorem Hospice House at 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690.
