Jorge Barrientos

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Jorge Barrientos, age 57, of Lenoir, died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born on June 16, 1953 in El Salvador, Jorge was a son of the late Sebastian Sanchez and Blanca Lidia Barrientos. Jorge was self employed as an auto body repairman. He enjoyed working, watching and playing soccer, and eating. He was a member of the Pentecostal El Dios Viviente. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an aunt, Isabel Melendez de Curriel; one brother, Jose S. Sanchez Jr. He is survived by his wife, Ana C. Barrientos; a daughter and son-in-law, Lidia and Walter M. Torres; a son and daughter-in-law, Jorge F. and Maria G. Barrientos; a sister, Marta Sanchez de Lovos; four grandchildren, Josue D. Dickerson, Cristian M. Torres-Barrientos, Jimena M. Barrientos, and Gabriel F. Barrientos; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Jorge?s life will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Pentecostal El Dios Viviente Church in Lenoir. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials can be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood St., Lenoir, NC 28645.
