Jonathan Simmons

Lenoir, NC- Jonathan Isaiah Simmons, infant son of Dennis Wayne II and Stacy Simmons, passed away on May 15, 2010 at the Levine?s Children?s Hospital in Charlotte. Born on July 20, 2009 in Catawba County, Jonathan was a gift from God and an inspiration to so many people. His life was a testimony of God?s miraculous power and grace. He is survived by his parents, Dennis Wayne II and Stacy Hannah Simmons of Lenoir; his maternal grandparents, Robert Hannah of Lenoir, and Catherine Hannah of Newton; his paternal grandparents, Dennis & Janet Simmons of Granite Falls; one brother, Caleb Simmons of Lenoir; he is also survived by his great grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous other relatives. A celebration of Jonathan?s life will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Crest View Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
