Lenoir – Johnny Ben Church, Jr., age 74, passed away on October 19, 2016. He was born in Caldwell County on June 18, 1942 to the late Ben Emory Church and Ruth Ann Crump Church. Johnny retired as a wheelman from American Steamship Company after 38 years of service on the Great Lakes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tamatha Bush. Johnny is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Church and wife, Linda; Clayton Mike Church and wife, Deborah; sisters, Patsy Richards and Judy Green; grandson, T.J. Bush; and numerous nieces and nephews. Evans Funeral Service & Crematory of Lenoir is serving the Church Family.
