John Stanley Taylor

John Stanley Taylor, age 77, of Lenoir, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

He was born to the late Eloise McQueen Taylor and Walter John Taylor on November 10, 1947 in Caldwell County.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Taylor.

John was a kind and simple man who filled his days watching old westerns; Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Big Valley, etc. John was a retired furniture worker and he was a member of Gamewell Methodist Church.

His survivors include: Neil and Sandra Parker, cousins and caregivers; Billie Dula and Michael Dula, friends and caregivers; other cousins, family members, friends and his puppy, Raks.

A Graveside service will be held at LittleJohn United Methodist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Bill Bentley will officiate.
