John Paul Suddreth

John Paul Suddreth, age 86, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.He was born in November 22, 1932 in Edgemont, NC to the late Walter and Pearl Raby Suddreth.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Suddreth; two sons, David and Keith Suddreth; and a daughter, Janice Suddreth. JP was self employed in the timber business and enjoyed dancing every Saturday night.He was a regular visitor at the Coffee House in Lenoir.He was a United States Army Veteran during the Korean Era. Survivors include two sons, Kevin Suddreth and wife Cindy and Michael Suddreth; grandchildren, Michael Campbell and wife Emily, Chelsea Philyaw, April Dye and husband Patrick, Heather Morris and husband Aaron, and Catherine Suddreth; and great grandchildren, Jackson and Ava Campbell, Aaron and Hailey Dye, Andrew Dye, Emily Coffey, and Gracin Suddreth. A gathering of friends and family will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Evans Funeral Service.Full military honors will be conducted by the North Carolina National Guard and Caldwell County Honor Guard.
