John William Price Jr.

John William Price Jr. of Lenoir North Carolina passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024. John was born on November 9, 1948 to the late John William Price Sr. and Virgie Coffey Price. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 51 years; Glenda Faye Piercy Price. John “Jr.” served in the United States Army as a paratrooper. He enjoyed spending time with Jaxxon and eating popsicles with him. He also enjoyed working on his tractor, and cooking for everyone who came by. Those left to cherish his memory are his only child; Sylvia Dawn Price and partner James Hodge of Granite Falls NC, grandchildren; John William Price Davidson and partner Megan Chester, Michael Ralph Price Davidson and wife Sarah Moody Davidson, Jazmine Faith Price Davidson and partner Sawyer Bullock, great-grandchildren; Jaxxon Rhett Davidson, Bexley-Rae Jurnee Whisnant, and Ashton Nathaniel Anderson. Along with his brothers, and many nieces and nephews. Evans Funeral Service is honored to serve the family of John Price Jr.
