John C. Holler

Lenoir, NC- Mr. John C. Holler, age 85, of Lenoir, passed away at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. He was born December 17, 1928 in Caldwell County to the late Earl and Mattie Crump Holler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother and his first wife, Edna Earl Holler. Mr. Holler was retired from the US Army with 22 years of service. During his service, he was awarded many medals and commendations. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol M. Holler of the home and other family members, Teresa Shoun and husband Brian Fox, Donna Cribbs, Kim Setzer and husband Keith, Brooke, Chase and Caden Rideout, Madison Setzer and Savannah Cribbs; and two aunts, Catherine Teague, Cleo Wilson and husband Guy, and several cousins. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Columbia, South Carolina.
