John "J.T." Hendrix

Lenoir – John Thomas Hendrix, Sr. “J.T.”, age 60, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. He was born in Caldwell County on August 9, 1961 to Dorothy Dillard Hendrix and the late Glen Hendrix. J. T. will always be remembered as a loving son, father, grandfather and brother. In addition to his father, he was precededin death by his sister, Teresa Hendrix and his brother, Rodger Hendrix. Other than his mother, J.T. is survived by his sons, John Hendrix, Jr. and wife, Audrey; Jeremiah Hendrix and girlfriend, Caroline Sneed; Charles Townsend; daughters, Crystal Hendrix and husband, Caleb Harshaw; Yvonne Townsend; brothers, Danny Hendrix; Ricky Hendrix and wife, Ann; grandchildren, Mercedes Paz; Connie Hendrix; Ricky Murillo; Daisy Murrillo; Jah’Noah Harshaw; Josiah Mcelrath; Layden Hendrix; Brandy Hendrix; Natalie Hendrix; Jeremiah W. Hendrix; Autumn Hendrix; Greyson Hendrix; Jade Townsend; Thomas Townsend; Malachi Townsend; Taletha Messer; Clint Messer; and numerous other family members. A graveside service will be held at Laytown Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Wayne White officiating.
