John Harvey Hendrix

John Hendrix Granite Falls, NC- Mr. John Harvey Hendrix, age 77, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Watauga County on March 3, 1935 to the late Sally Mae Hendrix of Triplett, NC and was married to Teresa West Hendrix. Mr. Hendrix retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Avis Hendrix; sister, Roseller Barnett Hendrix of Hudson; brothers, Finly Hendrix of Warsaw, VA, Jones W. Hendrix of Warsaw, VA, and James A. Hendrix of Fort Campbell, KY; and stepson, Marshall Day of Lenoir. Other than his wife, he is survived by his son, Scottie Hendrix and wife, Shirley of Granite Falls; and grandsons, Chad and Chris Hendrix of Granite Falls. A private gathering of family and friends will take place at the home of Mr. Hendrix.
