John Grant

Lenoir- John Grant, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. He was born in Macon County, NC on July 11, 1934 to the late Lonnie and Ella Grant. John spent his entire working career in the furniture industry as an upholsterer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Grant; brother, Doyle Grant; and his sister, Maebeth Phillips. John is survived by his children, Diane Wallace; Audrey Grant Dumas; and Betsy Bolick; five grandchildren; five great-grandsons; brothers, Allen Grant and Neal Grant. A memorial service for John will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
