John Daniel Brown

Lenoir, NC- Mr. John Daniel ?Danny? Brown, Sr. age 46, of Clark?s Chapel Road, died Sunday, October 29, 2006. Born September 9, 1960 in Catawba County, Mr. Brown was a son of the late Johnny Brown and Katie Sue Miller Brown of Hudson. He was the husband of April Craig Brown of the home. Danny was an active member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Hudson and worked for Carving Craft in Hickory as a superintendent. Other than his wife and mother, he is survived by his son, John Daniel Brown, Jr. and wife Keira of Granite Falls, his daughter, Melissa Kaye Brown of the home; one brother, Donald Brown and wife Debbie of Hudson; one sister, Susie Kaye Laws and husband Brian of Hudson; and one granddaughter, Eden Alyse Lynn Brown of Granite Falls. A celebration of Danny?s life will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Sunrise Baptist Church with Reverend David Woods and Reverend Edd Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 until 4 PM prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be: Alex Woods, Matthew Woods, James Smith, Jr., Danny Miller, Mike Morefield and Tony Crouch.
