Joel Sigmon

Mr. Joel Henry Sigmon, age 61, of Hudson passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at his home. Born on July 7, 1961 in Catawba County, was a son of the late Carol and Vernie Hartley Sigmon. Joel was a truck driver for over 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed working with CB radios and stereo systems. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Aubrey Sigmon. Survivors include his wife 35 years, Pamela “Susan” Sigmon; a daughter, Candace Holly Price (husband Greg); a granddaughter, Ruby Charlotte Price; a grandson, Maximus Gregory Price; a brother, Roger Sigmon; he was also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Joel’s life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Poovey's Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Nicky Waters officiating. Evans Funeral Service and Crematory of Lenoir are serving the Sigmon family.
