Joe Douglas Adams

Joe Douglas Adams, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Amorem. He was born in Caldwell County on December 24, 1946 to the late Arnold Adams and Mary Chester Adams. He was married for 57 years to Eula “Cissy” Rhodes Adams of the home.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five brothers and five sisters.

Other than his wife, Joe is survived by his children, Kathy Roberts (Chad); Barbara Adams Pope (Barry); Ella Adams Lint (Russell); Lori Adams Chesko (Scott); Jo Ann Adams Hall; son, Jody Douglas Adams and wife, Kara; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 11:00 until 11:45 AM followed by a graveside service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens at 12:00 PM with Pastor Dewey Bristol officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Nichols, Gareth Nichols, Joseph Adams, Anthony Grizzle, Alex Moss and Mike Smith.
