Joanna Salgado

Lenoir – Mrs. Joanna Marie Wink Salgado, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Baltimore, MD on November 13, 1939 to the late Paul G. Wink and Ella Dorothy Twist Wink. Mrs. Salgado was a member of St. James Episcopal Church where she was an active participant in their outreach activities. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Serafin Salgado and her sister, Patricia Schultz. She is survived by her children, Claudia Salgado; Patricia Salgado; Grace Salgado-Albertson; Serafin Salgado; grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica Norman; Tara Salgado; Kathryn Salgado; Paul Barbry;Alex Barbry; Andrew Albertson; Janine Salgado; Aileen Salgado; Lucienne Salgado; and great-grandchild, Sascha Salgado. A memorial service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Father Mike Cogsdale and Deacon Melissa Eggers officiating.
