Jimmy Amos Ward

Jimmy Amos Ward, 70, born on September 4, 1950 passed away on August 12, 2021 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Jimmy was born to the late Jim and Glenda Ward. Jimmy was married to the late Paulette Ward. Jimmy was known as a person who always tried to help others at any cost. Jimmy was a loving father and a great friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents and wife, Jimmy is preceded in death by daughter, Tabatha Ward. He is, also, preceded in death by his brothers: Howard Ward and Darrell Ward. Jimmy is survived by his granddaughters: Elecia Cox and Jessica Melton (Travis). He is survived by his great-grandchildren: Ivar Robinson, Makayla Ward, Travis Melton Jr., Karisa Melton, and Taylent Melton. Jimmy is survived by his sisters: Darlene Lopez, Rita Ingram, and Frieda Roberts. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a service held to honor Jimmy held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Evans Funeral Chapel at 2:00 pm. There will be a receiving of friends held from 1:00 until 2:00.
