Lenoir – James Edward Brown, “Jimmy”, age 50, went home to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer, on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Caldwell Hospice -Robbins Center. He was born in Caldwell County on October 14, 1969 to Ronald and Judy Brown. Jimmy was a loving father, son, brother and Pawpaw. He loved being outdoors, riding ATV’s, fishing, hunting, his dogs and spending time with his family. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, contagious laugh and big smile. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Vergie Brown; his maternal grandfather, Ralph Suddreth; and his niece, McKenze Whorley. In addition to his parents, Jimmy is survived by his daughters, McKayla Brown and Karen Williams; sister, Amy Ford and husband, Kelly; grandmother, Louise Suddreth; grandchildren, Mason Williams and Raelynn Sanders; his niece, Gabby; and numerous other family members and special friends. A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held at North Catawba Baptist Church on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 6:00 PM with Pastor David Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM prior to the service.
