Lenoir, NC- Mr. Jimmy Dale Bolick, age 58, of Lenoir, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at his home after an extended illness. Born April 6, 1953 in Caldwell County, Jimmy was a son of T.W. Bolick and the late Ethel Jean Reece Bolick. Jimmy was a graduate of Lenoir High School and spent a number of years in law enforcement working for the Lenoir Police, Hudson Police and Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department. He also worked with Bolick Construction Company with his dad. Jimmy was of the Methodist faith and attended Abernathy Memorial UMC. In addition to his father, Jimmy is survived by a sister, Debra Beane of High Point, NC; a brother and sister in law, William Junior Reece and his wife, Evelyn, of Lenoir; a special friend, Judy Richardson of Valdese; Jimmy is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Sally Queen officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Pallbearers will be Shannon Reece, Jamie Greene, Randy Richardson, Ted Bolick, Zachary Reece and Corey Beane.
