Jimmie Raymond Hensley, age 82, of Granite Falls, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care-Robbins Center.He was born December 10, 1935 in Yancey County to the late Alvin and Avis Smith Hensley.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Hensley. Survivors include his son Michael Anthony Hensley and wife Susan, of Lenoir; granddaughters, Leigh Hensley of Granite Falls and her son, Levi; and Megan Sarmiento and husband Rafael of Lincolnton.
