Jessie Ray Church

Hudson, NC ? Mr. Jessie Ray Church, age 73, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 23, 2010. He was born May 19, 1937 in Beckley, WV to the late E. Luiaco and Sally Johnson Church. He was married to Mrs. Linda K. Church of the home. Mr. Church was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He cherished his time fishing and hunting with his grandsons. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Pam Parsons and husband, David; step-son Jeff Walker of Winston-Salem; grandsons, Tyler and Aaron Parsons; brothers, Reverend Jack D. Church and wife, Jean and Ralph E. Church and wife, Linda. A celebration of Mr. Church?s life will be held at 2:00 on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Reverend John Greene and Reverend Jack D. Church officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Flowers are appreciated, or memorials may be sent to: Mt.
