Jessica Leigh Duncan

Connelly Springs, NC- Jessica Leigh Duncan, age 35, of Connelly Springs, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Valdese General Hospital after a long battle with Diabetes. Born March 7, 1978 in Catawba County, Jessica was a daughter of Gene and Sandy Duncan of Granite Falls. Jessica was a member of Calvary Advent Christian Church and a 1996 graduate of South Caldwell High School. Other than her parents, she is survived by her two children, Robert “R.B.” Byerly, IV and Ben Byerly, both of Hudson; one brother, Wesley Duncan and wife Crystal of Jonesville; Fiancée, Michael Ireland of Connelly Springs; nephew, Samuel Duncan and twin nieces, Sarah and Ellie Duncan, all of Jonesville. A celebration of Jessica’s life will be held 3:00 PM Monday, May 13, 2013 at Calvary Advent Christian Church with Reverend Jim Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, 2013 from 1:30 until 3:00 PM, prior to the service at Calvary Advent Christian Church. Pallbearers will be Men of Calvary Advent Christian Church.
