Jesse Ronald Poarch

Jesse Ronald Poarch, age 85, of Morganton, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at his residence.He was born September 30, 1933 in Burke County to the late Jesse Frank and Pearl Clontz Poarch.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Loretta Golds and Oreta Poarch Martinat; nieces, Crystal Poarch Felder and Wendy Golds; and a nephew, Mikey Golds. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Frances Hartley Poarch whom he married on January 13, 1957; sons, Greg Poarch and wife Kathy and Eddie Poarch and wife Johnna and brother, Brathel Poarch and wife Becky. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 20, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Hartland Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Steve Parker.The family will receive friends from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm prior to the service at the church.Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery with military honors.
