Jesse Junior Barnes

Jesse Barnes, 84, of Lenoir, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Jesse was born on July 24, 1939, to the late Reverend Ezekiel and Cordelia Barnes.

In addition to his parents, Jesse is preceded in death by his wife, Tiny Barnes; his son, Michael Barnes; and brother; Billy Barnes.

Those left to cherish Jesse’s memory are his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives.

Jesse loved reading his Bible and listening to Gospel music.  He enjoyed sharing his faith in the Lord to others, and being a witness for the Lord.

A graveside service to honor Jesse’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir, NC at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dewey Bristol officiating.
