Jerry Allen Summerow

Lenoir – Jerry “Allen” Summerow, age 44, went Home to be with his Heavenly Father after an extended illness on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Duke University Hospital. He was born in Burke County on June 14, 1971. He is the son of Jerry Summerow and Patricia Teeters. He is survived by his step-mother, Ann Summerow, his Grandmother Ella Teeters, one sister, Christy Keener and husband Randy. He also has two step-brothers, Adam Patton, Kristopher Huffman and his best friend Tony Chester. He has one niece Ashley Keener and extended family that includes the Ranzie and Mary Harmon Family . He is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Mr. Summerow’s life will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Evans Funeral Service Chapel at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. Reverend Danny Castle officiating.
