Jerry Leslie Mcguire (Razor)

Jerry Leslie McGuire (Razor), age 64, of Lenoir, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital.He was born January 14, 1956 in Caldwell County to the late Darrell (Doc) McGuire and Jean Vines McGuire of Lenoir.In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Denise Annette McGuire and Kelly Ann McGuire; grandparents, William McGuire, Ressie Walker McGuire, Tommie James Vines and Verna McCrary Vines. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Tommie Dean McGuire and wife Wanda Norman McGuire; niece, Erin McGuire; nephew, Michael McGuire and wife Ashley McGuire; great-nieces, Brooklynn Davidson and Reagan McGuire; and great-nephews, Rylan Davidson and Declan McGuire. Jerry was an avid fisherman and hunter.He loved the outdoors, life, friends and family. A Celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 5:00 pm at Evans Funeral Service Chapel conducted by Reverend Jim Robbins. The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
