Jerry Wayne Herman

Jerry Herman, 85, of Granite Falls, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Carolina Caring in Sherrills Ford.

Jerry was born on December 22, 1938, to the late Perry Herman and Maude Smith.

In addition to parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Miriam Herman; daughter, Donna Farmer; and one grandson.

Those left to cherish memory are his daughters, Angela Franklin (Dale), Vivian Speagle (Joseph); nine grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Jerry was a Christian man who loved the Lord.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rhodhiss.  Jerry retired from textiles management where he worked many years.

A memorial service to honor Jerry will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Rhodhiss with Pastor Rick Miller officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Rhodhiss.
