Jerry Lee Cannon

Granite Falls, NC- Mr. Jerry Lee Cannon, age 62, of Granite Falls, died Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born November 4, 1947 in Caldwell County, he was a son of the late Frank Cannon and Mrs. Louise Campbell Cannon of Granite Falls. Jerry had worked in the furniture industry and was a member of Dry Ponds Baptist Church. Other than his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Cannon. Surviving other than his mother are three sons, Reggie Lloyd of Taylorsville; Joe Calloway of Lenoir; Matthew Cannon of Granite Falls; one step-daughter, Tammy Trivette and husband Johnny of Granite Falls; one sister, Mrs. Jeanette Duffey of Granite Falls; 4 brothers, Eugene Cannon of Lansing, NC; Jimmy Cannon and wife Phyllis of Rhodhiss; Ted Cannon of Statesville; Carroll Cannon of Sawmills and one Grandson, Austin Lloyd of Hickory. A celebration of Jerry?s life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Dry Ponds Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Crouse and Reverend Don Ingle officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM, one hour prior to the service Sunday, at Dry Ponds Baptist Church.
