Jerry Bell

Mr. Jerry Paul Bell, 72, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Grace Hospital in Morganton after a brief illness. He leave behind his wife Shirley Bell of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Keener Bell and Mary West Bell and his sister, Nettie Wilcox. Other survivors include his daughter, Dianne Walker of Yanceyville, NC; sons, Tommy Satterfield of Reidsville, NC and Raymond Satterfield of South Boston, VA; grandchildren, Jamey Walker, Larry Walker, T.C. Satterfield, Dana Satterfield, Zachery Satterfield and Chassity Anderson; sisters, Gloria Watson, Sylvia Pennell, and Martha Jones, all of Lenoir; brother, Wayne Bell of Granite Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mr. Bell’s life will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 2:00 PM with Keith Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be James Vaughan, Terry Walker, Jamey Walker, Larry Walker, Gary Pennell and T.C. Satterfield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
