Lenoir, NC- Mr. Jerry Lee Beaver, age 68, of Lenoir, passed away on Friday March 29, 2013 at his home. Born March 27, 1945, in Caldwell County, Jerry was a son of the late Paul and Louise Prestwood Beaver. He was a member of Worship Point Baptist Church and had worked in the furniture industry. Jerry enjoyed walking, picking up cans, and collecting old model cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Leroy Beaver; a brother, Billy Beaver; and a sister, Deloris Tumar. Survivors include his wife, Caroline Beaver of the Home; two daughters, Crystal Gullett, husband Roland of the Home, and Nancy Dawn Johnson, husband Raymond, of Lenoir; three sons, Chad Beaver, wife Keshia McElyea, Eadger Beaver and David Beaver all of Lenoir; four sisters, Betty Shew, Linda Moore, Kathy Massey and Carolyn Lee; two brothers, Raymond Beaver, Paul Michael Beaver; his grandchildren, Chase Beaver, Caylan Johnson, Aliyah Barnes, Jacob Beaver, Jeremiah Johnson, Raegan Johnson and Karma Gullett; two step grandchildren, Selena Banks and Camron McElyea; Jerry is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Worship Point Baptist Church with Pastor Lane Hamby officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Beaver, David Beaver, Raymond Johnson, Ralph Guy, Dustin Burns, Jake Massey and Roland Gullett.
