Lenoir, NC- Jeremiah Shelton Anders, age 32, of Lenoir, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Born August 31, 1978, he was a son of David and Elaine Anders of the Hartland Community. Shelton graduated from Summerville High School in Summerville, SC and was a member of Littlejohn United Methodist Church. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Shelton was a true outdoorsman and volunteered for preservation at Wilson’s Creek. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Julia Miller Rudisill; his paternal grandparents, Bayse and Bessie Mae Anders and one uncle, Gerald Anders. Other than his parents, he is survived by one brother, Judson Anders of Lenoir; his maternal grandfather, Charles Rudisill of the Hartland Community; one uncle, Alan Rudisill and wife Susan of Lenoir; three Aunts, Barbara Watson and husband Pete of Lenoir; Nancy Brooks and husband Johnny of Lenoir; Sylvia Woodruff and Dan Byrd of Morganton and several cousins. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Littlejohn United Methodist Church Cemetery with Dr. Steve Parker and Reverend Elizabeth Graves officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM, prior to the service in the Sanctuary of Littlejohn United Methodist Church.
