Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Jennifer Lyn Moody Auton, age 27, of Lenoir, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at her home. Born December 2, 1981 in Catawba County, Jennifer was the daughter of Cathy Mae Stafford and Michael “Mike” Wayne Moody.Jennifer was a housewife and a member of Hudson First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert F. Smith.She is survived by her husband, Joshua Jones Auton of the home; a daughter, Catlyn Auton of the home; a son, Brenton Auton of the home; her mother and step father, Cathy and Eric Stafford of Lenoir; her father and step mother, Michael “Mike” Wayne and Sharon Moody of Lenoir; one brother, Michael Moody of Wilmington, NC; her maternal grandmother, Marilyn Woods Smith of Lenoir; her paternal grandparents, B.F. and Annie Reese Moody of Lenoir; she is also survived by numerous other relatives.A celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 29, 2009 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Officiating will be Reverend Jim Hamby and Reverend Michael Isaacs. Burial will follow the service at the Whitnel First Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Moody, Eric Brookshire, Aaron Adkins, Dennis Auton, David Stepp, Aaron Moody, and Christopher Moody.The family will receive friends Friday from 1 until 2 PM, one hour prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service.Memorials can be made to the Baptist Children’s Homes at P.O.
