Jeff "Red" Robbins

Lenoir- Jeffrey Melton Robbins “Red”, age 57, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Catawba County on December 16, 1962 to Joyce Robbins and the late Larry Robbins. Jeff is survived by his wife of 34 years, Bobbi Hamby Robbins of the home. Jeff enjoyed his more than 20-year career as a truck driver. He was always a joy to be around, as he loved to joke and kid around with everybody. He loved his family and will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jeremy Robbins; daughters, Corey Shillito and husband, Seth; Kristy Settlemyer and husband, Roger; and Samantha Tran and husband, Ken; his brother, David Robbins; grandchildren, Alice, Chasity, Lily, Madelyn, Ava, Abby and Emily, and Layla. A private celebration of Jeff’s life will be held by the family.
