Jean Potter

Jean Potter Lenoir – Mrs. Marjorie Jean Anderson Potter, age 80 passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Elizabethton, TN on January 7, 1934 to the late Grant Anderson and Lula Dugger Anderson. Mrs. Potter loved her church, Tabernacle Advent Christian Church, where she was active in the senior group and she enjoyed her many friends. She retired after 30 years with Sealed Air Corporation. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Potter; brother, Alphas Anderson and sisters, Marie Queen, Susie Morell and Lucy Smith. Mrs. Potter is survived by her son, Mark Potter and her brothers, Jarvis Anderson and Argul Anderson. A celebration of Mrs. Potter’s life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 9, 2014 at Tabernacle Advent Christian Church with Reverend Frank Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Happy Valley Memorial Park in Elizabethton, TN. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM on Friday, one hour prior to the service.
