J.E. Brown

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Julius “J.E.” Estel Brown, age 68, of Lenoir passed away on October 6, 2016 at Frye Reginal Medical Center. Born November 15, 1947 in Caldwell County, Julius was a son of the late Wiley Oscar and Lillie Eva Brown. He had worked in the furniture industry for many years. He enjoyed racing all of his life. He especially enjoyed drag racing and was the owner of a dirt track race team. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Edna Hoyle. He is survived by a brother, Jamie Edwin Brown; and a sister, June Edith Brown Colvard ; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. There will be no services at this time.
